Our logo is a registered trademark and offers the most immediate representation of Hillbrush. It features throughout our brand portfolio following an approach known as monolithic architecture, meaning our Master Brand features in all Hillbrush logo variations.
Our product brands incorporate the Master Brand and feature an additional sub-brand mark (Hygiene, Tradition, etc) to differentiate. The Salmon brand mark is of historical relevance to our brand and is seen primarily with our product brands. It is also used with our Master Brand where the Salmon recognition is required. The Salmon must not be used on its own in any capacity.
Our experience brand represents the Hillbrush Visitor Centre and incorporates an optional tagline. Formats with and without a tagline are provided in the asset download.
We recommend a width of 35 millimetres when featuring our logo(s) on product or in print. For screens, we recommend a width of 133 pixels. Do not scale our logo(s) narrower than 25 millimetres or 95 pixels. Although there is no upper limit to scale, compositional balance should be carefully considered.
Our logo(s) must have space to breathe. The initial h of the logotype is used to determine a clearance zone. Do not breach the rule for minimum scale in an attempt to make a success of a composition.
Our logo(s) should be positioned top left in a leading role and bottom right when supporting or endorsing.
Solid, neutral backgrounds create optimal contrast. We recommend white or a pale grey with our navy logo for most situations or navy or dark grey with a white logo for reversed contrast. Our logo can be used on photographic backgrounds that have a multiply or translucent colour layer over the image (minumim 85% opacity), however we prefer solid backgrounds. Very noisy or high contrast photographic backgrounds are not to be used behind our logo. See below for acceptable usage.
